In the lecture the lecturer discuss a topic about (10 leadership principles in military and put to work for Donald Trump).During the lecture he try reflects his experience that he got it from military .He talk about some principles of the leadership and managing such as ;
1-Teamwork : To be an effective leader you must know not only yourself, your strengths and your weaknesses, but also those people who are around you. You must build a team of people who understand your objectives and share your commitment to achieving them, and you must help each individual in that team to perform to their very best.
2-Dispassion and integrity: Is how you value yourself. You cannot be in charge of others unless you are in charge of yourself. People of integrity separate what is right from what is wrong and act according to what they know is right, even at personal cost.
3-Planning and delineating: Success by succession planning is an investment that business leaders are recognizing as an important strategy in achieving the long-term vision of their organization
4-Persistence and sedulity: Is one of the key characteristics of great leaders. Gaining it requires determination and a mindset that - no matter what happens - you will stick to your principles and goals, Great leaders are persistent.
5-flexibility and resilience: Ready capability to adapt to new, different, or changing requirements
6- Selfless Service: Can be defined as service which is performed without any expectation of result or award for the person performing it, leaders don't act based on how it will impact on their own careers or if it will make people like them. They don't worry about individual statistics. They act in the best interest of the team. They put others before themselves.
7-affection and emotion: Play a central role in the leadership process. More specifically, it is proposed that emotional intelligence, the ability to understand and manage moods and emotions in the self and others, contributes to effective leadership in organizations.
8-devoir and duty: Is how you value your job. Duty begins with everything required of you by law and policy, but it is much more than that. A leader commits to excellence in all aspects of their professional responsibility so that when the job is done they can look back and say "I couldn't have given any more.
9-loyalty and allegiance: Loyalty is a commonly misused principle in leadership
10- Impeccability: an impeccable leader is one who has no hidden agenda, who operates without fear, anger, or false pride. Impeccable leaders are people who engage themselves in selfless service to humanity, trusting that life will take care of them.
